  so after our incident today i let some time pass so as not to kill the mood and bring up all the annoying watchtower stuff.

  however i said, "babe seriously, i know you were upset about the other issue but you seem to just never want to even think about borg stuff again!

  Nice one.

  but when she saw the fact that we have said for years that Russell predicted the 1914 stuff and then saw in print that it wasn't true she felt utterly betrayed.

  Where did she see this? Reference may come in handy for others...

  this is the letter i wrote back in '96 about the parousia.

  following the '95 watchtower that disconnected the "generation" from 1914 i began to look carefully at end-time prophecy and soon discovered what i knew were basic errors in what i had been taught.. i was a loyal jw at the time and was still serving as an elder.

  i used only watchtower publications in my research.

  my jw friend of 20 years, the first one i ever met, the one who got me into jwism in the first place, unfriended me from facebook without explanation.

  other jws who have unfriended me at least called me names (apostate) and told me they were unfriending me, but they were no loss.

  but someone who's been your friend since you were 13...and no explanation...i'd think 20 years- 20 years!

  my friend told me that he will take part in a fashion show next week; he didnt know whether he should choose the iron man 3 or the batman.

  in my mind, iron man 3 is hot now; the batman seems a little old, so the iron man 3 is more suitable for the fashion show.

  but my friend said, because the iron man 3 is famous, many people will choose it.
